Our mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. We know it will take the combined will of both the public and our elected officials to elevate hunger as a key issue in this election cycle.

Responses to this survey will be promoted on our website, to our 350+ member agency network, and to our tens of thousands of supporters via newsletters, email, and social media channels.

The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank will be closing all Food Bank-run Pop-Up Pantries by June 2025 due to cuts in government pandemic funding. This program currently serves 11,400 households, 75% of which are estimated to lose access to free weekly groceries when the funding ends. If elected, what would you do to ensure that all San Franciscans have access to nutritious foods?*
Food banks statewide are stretched thin after managing a sustained need for food assistance since the onset of the pandemic. If elected to the State Legislature, what would you do to ensure that food banks have enough resources to feed those in need?*
