Monet is a busy student at San Francisco State, juggling a full class load and a job. But with the cost of living in the bay area skyrocketing, she has trouble making ends meet. Enter the Food Bank, which helped Monet enroll in CalFresh (food stamps) and connected her to our new college food pantry on campus. In spite of her hardships, Heather keeps a positive attitude. “When I look at our finances, it’s so stressful,” she says. “But life is too short, and I’m thankful for what we have.
