An increasingly popular charitable vehicle, a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a great way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals.
A DAF, which is like a charitable savings account, gives you flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank (or any other qualified nonprofits you choose to give to). You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact, or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.
You can also make monthly donations via your DAF by recommending a recurring grant. Your gift can also be matched via your employer if they offer matching of charitable gifts.
Any questions about giving via your DAF? Contact our Donor Services team at (415) 282-1907 ext. 249, or email donationssf@sfmfoodbank.org.
